Cupie Contest-For the cupie stunt, the flyer places their right foot into the hands of the main base. As the flyer jumps, she places her left foot beside her right in the hands of the base. The base then pushes her up into a full overhead extension, moving the flyer's feet together. The front base holds the flyer's ankles for support while they are in the air. The contest will go until the last stunt is still standing. This is the group that will win the Cupie Contest. Please note every member of the stunt must be on the same performance team. Ex: 4 senior girls can not hold a mini in the stunt.
Jump Off- Each entry will receive a number that they will pin on the front of their uniform. Then one at a time they will do their jump and the judges will narrow it down to the final 5. From there the judges will place them from 5 down to number 1 which will be the winner of the contest. When the athlete signs up for this they will choose which jump they would like to perform: Toe Touch, Herkie, Pike or Front Hurdler. Coaches will sign the athletes up for the jump of their choice in the Coaches Corner the day of registration.
Tumble Off- Each entry will receive a number that they will pin on the front of their uniform. Then one at a time the will do their best tumble across the floor. From there the judges will place them from 5 down to number 1 which will be the winner of the contest in each division.
Photogenic- Each entry will submit a 5 by 7 photo to be judged and most photogenic will be announced at the end of the competition. The winner will receive a trophy and $25 credit to our Spirit Store. They will also be placed on our home page of our website until the following competition. At the end of the year winners from each competition will be judged and a grand champion will be announced at the final competition. Coaches must turn in photo in the Coaches Corner the day of registration.
